Buckhead Community Take Action Safety Seminar for Parents, Educators & Community Leaders

featuring Elizabeth Smart & Steve Daley

Thursday, March 15, 12 noon

Buckhead Theatre

In response to the recent abduction and murder of a seven-year-old Canton, Ga. girl, then attempted abduction of a second seven-year-old Bremen, Ga. girl, within 64 days of each other, Keep Georgia Safe is partnering with the Buckhead Alliance for a Buckhead Community Take Action Safety Seminar for parents, educators, and community leaders March 15 at noon at the Buckhead Theatre.

Keep Georgia Safe, the Georgia non-profit organization dedicated to proactive child safety and crime prevention, is responsible for bringing to Georgia the radKIDS program. radKIDS is the nation’s leading personal safety empowerment program for children ages 5-12 that provides hands-on learning for children on how to recognize, avoid, resist and escape violence, bullying, abduction and harm.

Keep Georgia Safe and the founder of radKIDS, Steve Daley, will present an interactive safety forum for the community, educating them on the radKIDS program and its success, how to get radKIDS in your community and efforts to implement radKIDS in Georgia pulbic schools, during a box lunch event. www.radkids.org

Child Advocates Elizabeth and Ed Smart will also join forces with Keep Georgia Safe and radKIDS at the luncheon to share with parents, educators and community leaders the importance of safety empowerment for children.

Elizabeth Smart, who was kidnapped at age 14 and miraculously rescued nine months later, is President of the Elizabeth Smart Foundation            and ABC News Special Correspondent, and her father Ed is President of the Surviving Parents Coalition and National Spokesperson for radKIDS.  www.elizabethsmartfoundation.org
