CANTON, Ga. -- Students at two Cherokee County schools spent their summer doing some good for homeless pets in the area.

The Cherokee High and Teasley Middle students made 130 tote bags out of old pet food bags. They then sold the bags at the Cherokee County Animal Shelter.
