CANTON | Missing woman wanted by sheriff | News
CANTON, Ga. -- Canton police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing woman who is wanted by authorities.
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office has two active warrants out for Ariel Hernandez's arrest for credit card fraud.
Canton Police Sgt. Stacy Bailey said the 20-year-old was last heard from on March 8. Her father said he was worried because it's unusual for her to go so long without getting in touch with friends and family.
Bailey said Hernandez had been living in the Riverview Apartments in Canton, but was planning to move to the Great Sky neighborhood around the time she disappeared.
Hernandez may be driving a red or maroon 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt with Florida tag 584TWJ.
Last month, her boyfriend Caleb Aarons Mullins, who is also from Canton, was arrested for violating probation and four counts of theft from his former employer, UPS.
Anyone who has seen Hernandez is asked to call the Canton Police Department at 770-479-4069, the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office at 770-928-0239 or 911.
