Police seeking victims of sexual battery | News

CANTON, Ga. -- Canton Police are looking for more possible victims of a sexual battery suspect.

On May 29, 2012 police arrested John Deeyaa for two counts of sexual battery which occurred at the Canton Walmart and Ross Department Store. 

The two separate incidents occurred within a year of each other and the stories were very similar reference to the female victims.  The most recent victim an employee of Ross reported on 5/12/2012 that Deeyaa was a regular customer and had pulled her into him trying to hug her then grabbed her chest.  Deeyaa had also been bothering other female employees at this incident location.  

The victim of Walmart also filed a report on 5/28/2011 in reference to sexual battery and stated, Deeyaa also pulled her into his body as if to hug her and then touched her breast and butt. 

Deeyaa was interviewed after this first incident by police but not enough evidence was available for the police to take warrants on Deeyaa.

The City of Canton Police Department is looking for other victims involving Mr. John Deeyaa for sexual battery.
