Several surface streets impacted by weekend roadwork | News

(WXIA) -- Interstate 20 will bear the brunt of this weekend's roadwork, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Drivers are asked to avoid nonessential travel on I-20, as road projects will require lane closures that will likely result in delays.
A number of surface streets will also be impacted by construction crews.

Cobb/Fulton counties: I-285
2 northbound lanes will be closed between Bolton and South Atlanta roads from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for concrete rehabilitation.
Coweta County: I-85
1 southbound lane will be closed at Sharpsburg-McCullum Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 12 p.m. Monday for barrier wall installation.
DeKalb County
1 lane of Memorial Drive will be closed between Moreland Avenue and Wilkinson Drive Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
DeKalb County
1 lane of Memorial Drive will be closed between East Lake Drive and Candler Road Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

1 lane of Hugh Howell Road will be closed between Mountain Industrial Boulevard and Tucker Industrial Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for lift station improvements.
Fulton County
1 lane of Northside Drive will be closed between I-75 and Norfleet Road Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for sewer work.

1 lane of Piedmont Road will be closed at Habersham Road Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for pipeline construction.

1 lane of Holcomb Bridge Road will be closed at Old Alabama Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

2 eastbound lanes will be closed between Joseph Lowery Boulevard and McDanile Street from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for bridge joint repairs.

1 lane in each direction will be closed between Sidney Marcus Boulevard and I-285 from 7 a.m. Saturday to 7 p.m. Sunday for cable installation.
