Cherokee Co. stabbing suspect turns himself in | News
CANTON, Ga. -- Cherokee County officials have confirmed that the suspect in one of three unrelated stabbings over the weekend has turned himself in to police.
A spokesperson for the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said that 28-year-old Brian Miller of Canton, Ga. turned himself into deputies on Wednesday afternoon.
Miller faces charges of aggravated assault charges in connection with a stabbing that happened on Saturday on Waleska Road near Mill Street in Canton, Ga.
The victim, who suffered wounds to the head back and abdomen, was transported to Northside Cherokee Hospital for treatment.
Miller is being held on $22,200 bond.
The stabbing was the second of three in Cherokee County in a matter of two days.
A man was accused of stabbing his roommate on Saturday morning and another man fatally stabbed his mother on Sunday night.
