ADOPT A PET: Meet Peridot | Pets
MARIETTA, Ga. – If you dream of coming home to a cool purr or a comforting meow adopt a kitten from your local pet shelter. According to the ASPCA, approximately 5 million to 7 million domesticated animals enter animal shelters nationwide, every year, and approximately 3 million to 4 million are euthanized. However, you can change those numbers but adopting a “companion” for yourself or your family. Pets are an investment but, in our opinion, an investment well worth the money.
According to the Humane Society, Peridot is a Domestic short hair Tabby kitten. He likes to hand out with his brothers and sister and his mother, who is also in the Cobb County Humane Society. They say she is very energetic and goos with people and that she would thrive in a situation with other kittens. The cat is up-to-date with his shots, house trained, and neutered.
If one should choose to adopt a pet from the Humane Society of Cobb County, adoption fees include: vaccinations and de-worming, a veterinarian visit, a microchip and surgical sterilization. And, a list of the basic requirements for adoption can be found here.
