ADOPT A PET: Meet Blanche | Pets
MARIETTA, Ga. – If you dream of coming home to a cool purr or a comforting meow adopt a kitten from your local pet shelter. According to the ASPCA, approximately 5 million to 7 million domesticated animals enter animal shelters nationwide, every year, and approximately 3 million to 4 million are euthanized. However, you can change those numbers but adopting a “companion” for yourself or your family. Pets are an investment but, in our opinion, an investment well worth the money.
According to the Humane Society, Blanche is a Domestic Short Hair – Black kitten and she wants a home. Blanche has a twin sister named Blair who also needs to be adopted. Blanche is very playful and loves attention. Representatives from the Humane Society say, she would benefit from living in a home with other kittens or children. Blanche is up-to-date with all of her shots.
If one should choose to adopt a pet from the Humane Society of Cobb County, adoption fees include: vaccinations and de-worming, a veterinarian visit, a microchip and surgical sterilization. And, a list of the basic requirements for adoption can be found here.
